It is noticed that, the education in India is more focused on the knowledge part than on the skills and attitude. Students, their parents and staff are being focused on Marks/Merit system and not on application of knowledge. Individual work/study culture is being noticed in current educational system. In this context, we are trying to provide demand driven curricula, students centered and problem solving approach in curriculum with the objective of entrepreneurship and leadership development in students. ADT believes to start empowering its staff well ahead of time on above mentioned problems, so as to enable the competencies in them to face upcoming global challenges. Hence, India’s first exchange programmes like of 2+2/3+1 International Bachelors programme in Agriculture/Agribusiness and Business administration and 2+2 Animal Husbandry have been started at Baramati with joint collaboration of ADT Baramati and Van Hall Larenstien University in Netherlands. ADT is entered into MoU with international universities like Yunan Agriculture University China, Asian Institute of Technology Bangkok, UC Davis University California for staff and student exchange programmes.
