COMMUNITY FRUIT PROCESSING CENTER The Krishi Vigyan Kendra has established a fruit and vegetable processing unit at it's farm. The unit is well equipped with all the necessary machines required to process number of fruits and vegetables. This will act as a guideline for employment generation in rural areas, reduction in post harvest losses of fruits, availability of fruits during off season and also to meet the changing lifestyle of the people. Keeping in view the above points the short duration training programmes will be arranged by the krishi Vigyan Kandra from June 2010 onwards for rural youths farmers clubs, Women self help groups and individual farmer who will approach to the KVK. The training programme will be well supported with CD show, Slide Show, Practical demonstration of different processed products from the fruits & vegetables available in that particular season.
