Probability of Diseases in Grapes on the basis of last 3 days

* a) To control the disease Downy mildew following measure to be taken

A regular and systemic spraying programme is very essential for the control of disease

1. Bordex Mixture

2. Bordex Mixture + Ground nut oil + Neem oil found more effective

3. Zineb or Maneb -400 gm/200lit (0.2  %)

4. Captan - 400 gm -800 gm/200 lit (.02-.05 %)

5. Bllfox -50  -600 gm/200 lit (0.3 %)

6. Cuman-I - 800 gm/20 lit (0.4 %)

7. Ridomil - 200 gm /200lit (0.1 %)

8. Aliette - 400 gm/200 lit (0.2 %)

9. Duconil - 200 lit (0.2 %)

10. Aliette + Dithenm -45 Quite effective 3-5 spray of Ridomil and 4-5 spray of Aliette at 10 -15 days interval are enough to control disease

11. Antisporalative - Ridomil / Alieffe

12. Curzate is also recommended (0.05 %)

* b) To control the disease Powdery mildew following measure to be taken

any one of the following spray can be used. 

 systemic and contact fungicides  used one by one

 1. Sulphur 300 mesh  powder  used for dusting purpose

 2.  wet able sulphur  0.2 %- 0.25 %  

 3. Bordex mixture 1 %

4. Penconazole     (Topas ) 0.1 % -15 days interval

5. Belatone  0.1 % - 15 days interval

6. Carothen   0.1 %

7. Ziram  0.2 %

8. Bavistin ( 0.1 %)

once within 7 /8 days

* c) To control the disease Anthracnose following measure to be taken

any one of the following spray can be used. 

1.  Bavistin ( 0.1 %)

2. Copper based fungicides 1250 gm in  - 500 lit of water

3. Mancozeb  0.25 %

4. Zaineb  75 % - 1 kg /500 lit water

5. Kawach (Cholorothalonil ) 0.1 %
